Antioxidant Smoothie!

Any time I have an excuse to eat chocolate, I am all OVER it. Dark chocolate is packed with something called flavonoids, which help to fight inflammation in the body and have been found to be fighters of cancer.

Here is a recipe for a dark chocolate smoothie PACKED with heart and skin healthy antioxidants.

You will need: Makes 1 serving
1 cup almond milk
1/2 banana
1 tbsp raw cacao (highest in antioxidants)
1 tbsp agave nectar (natural sweetness)
1 cup ice

Total cal: 170 calories of GOODNESS.

  1. Yum!!! I actually had something similar this morning! But I used peanut flour instead of cocoa :) I love me some chocolate though... so I might have to make this when I get home ;)
