Hydrating COCONUT WATER smoothie!

I have been obsessed with coconut water lately. If you haven't heard of coconut water before, its basically a nutritious hydration drink that's very beneficial after or during your workout. The benefits?

1. Carry's nutrients and oxygen to cells
2. Raises your metabolism
3. Promotes weight loss
4. Detoxifies and fights viruses
5. Provides your body with potassium: helps reduce water bloat

Here is a drink recipe that I am OBSESSED WITH.

6 oz coconut water
1/2 cucumber
1 cup pineapple (or mango)
1.5-2 packets stevia or 1.5 tbsp agave nectar
1/2 scoop protein powder (I use the Vega one for this since it adds 2 servings of veggies)

Put into blender and blend until THICK AND CREAMY. Its so filling, delicious, and not to mention GOOD FOR YOU.

  7. I tried this a while ago (plain) and it just didn't taste very good :( I would love to incorporate it into my diet somehow since those health benefits are hard to pass up! Maybe I'll test it out in a smoothie...Do you have a particular brand you like?
