Sweatin' in privacy!

As a fitness instructor, its only natural for me to have a love of working out. Though I love to work out at gyms (I just love the atmosphere of people being healthy with me), I'm all about home gyms. I think that having a gym at home, whether it be a workout space or an actual gym, you can never give yourself that excuse that "you don't have the time to get to the gym." With a gym right in your house, you can't get away with such excuses.
I recently created my own home gym in my house. I love it because I can get up early in the morning, throw on whatever workout clothes I want, and just go into my basement and sweat! I don't have to wake up 20 minutes earlier to get dressed and actually drive there, which can be an absolute hassle!
I'm also a huge fan of workout dvds. Everyone has some sort of space in their house to work out and lets be honest, if you do go to the gym, sometimes the treadmill can be boring and repetitive. So why not switch it up with dvds? Aerobics, pilates, yoga, circuit training. has it all! Go wild! I definitely have...

  1. I have to have a home gym because as a mom there are times I simply cannot go to the gym with a sick child or attachment issues. It's great knowing I can still get in a fun workout.

  2. GREEN with envy! :) Enjoy it!!!

  3. Hey! Thanks for your comment; I can't wait to keep up with your blog!

I bet home gyms are so nice to have. I definitely don't have that, and working out at home isn't really my favorite. It's hard to motivate myself to actually do it when I'm at home, but I love going to the gym. The atmosphere is filled with endorphins and there is such a positive energy. I love it. :)

Those DVDs look awesome! I wish I had some workout DVDs. Which are your favorites?

  4. I would LOVE a home gym...or even a treadmill. I would KILL for a treadmill!! And love workout dvd's too. I haven't done one in a while though...oops lol
