The power of a GOAL.

I think everyone can improve in some area of their life, whether it be self esteem or health. For me, its in regards to both of these things. I came across the idea to each week set three for myself in terms of diet, exercise, and self-esteem thanks to Charmaine over at Perfectly Picked. In the past, I have set goals for myself, but became overwhelmed, as sometimes looking too much into the future makes me anxious. I don't know why! I think that its easier for you focus on the moment. So from now on, on every Monday morning. I will write my weekly goals!

My goals this week are to:
1. Eat more vegetables and fruits
2. Only weigh myself once this week
3. Look in the mirror and say one thing I love about myself and my body each morning

Do you set weekly goals for yourself?
Do you practice positive affirmations?

  2. These are awesome; I love #3 too. I actually get anxious about the future too, especially since I don't know what will happen sometimes...and it freaks me out! I didn't meet all my goals from last week, but the more consistent I get with setting them, the more consistently I will achieve them. Good luck with yours this week =)

  3. I don't set weekly goals, but I'd like to start. I think it would be a great way to give myself an extra boost, a little extra motivation. Great idea!

  4. I try to pray more and I try to look at a walk or jog as something for myself then just a walk of joy. I NEED to get into Yoga more! It's pretty bad my meathead bf does it once a week and I don't lol

  7. I got rid of my scale because I started getting too obsessed with weighing myself all the time. Those are some great goals though. I'm thinking about setting weekly goals myself!
